TFS Team Explorer & Team Project desktop shortcut!

Do you want to switch between Team Projects or Team Project Collections easily?  Believe it or not Saving a Team Query As… does the trick.   Not only does it open the Query, but it also opens up the Team Project Collection > Team Project I need !!!!!
This is how you do it:
  1. On your desktop create a new folder named TFS(this will be used in step 6)
  2. In Team Explorer, right-click the query that you want to save to a file, and then click Edit Query.
  3. On the File menu, click Save Query As.
  4. Change the name of the Query so that it is QueryName + Team Project Name for easier Reference (i.e. My Work Items-Agile)

  5. Under Select the query type and save location >select File radio button
  6. Click Browse, and specify the folder  C:Users<username>DesktopTFS
  7. Click Save.
  8. Right mouse click the Taskbar > Toolbars > New toolbar… and select the folder C:Users<username>DesktopTFS
  9. Open Team Explorer
  10. Then select the shortcut and voila Team Project Collection/Team Project/Team Query are at your fingertips!!!
