Microsoft Visual Studio ALM MVP 2012 Award

I was honored with an exciting email that I received Microsoft's Visual Studio ALM MVP Award!!

Dear Anna Russo,

Congratulations! We are pleased to present you with the 2012 Microsoft® MVP Award! This award is given to exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others. We appreciate your outstanding contributions in Visual Studio ALM technical communities during the past year.

I want to thank the people at Microsoft that nominated me and for those who have supported me along the way.

When I first saw TFS 2005, I was very passionate and could clearly see the potential that the tool could provide to software development organizations.  At the time I was an Automation Technical Lead and a lot of people could not understand my interest in such a tool.  It's pretty simple, TFS fulfills an organizational goal that I was trying to achieve with automation which is improving software quality.

It is amazing to me that I get to work on a product that I love and the extraordinary ALM MVP community that I am part of.  We are all so passionate and on a geek mission to serve our community.
